As stated before, the wing coming up is an indication of a low battery. This is the most reliable indication of a low battery on an NA Crossfire. If the connections have been checked and are fine, and you have already tried a trickle charger, I would say that 99.999% chances are that you need a new battery. Please do as others have advised and take your battery and have it checked..... and then replaced.
I understand that you are inclined to believe that this has something to do with installing the amp, but the reality is that it is probably just a coincidence that your battery died at the same time as you decided to install the amp.
Also, you stated that you purchased the car less than 60 days ago and everything is like new. Was this a new car purchase of a 2005? Regardless, it is still a 5 year old battery in the car. 5 year old batteries do, and will die.
