You are wrong. The boxes do not fit. It has nothing to do with the engine block and everything to do with the room in the engine compartment. If the engine compartment were larger you would not have a problem. As it is there are items under the hood that are in the way. The same issue applies in looking at the SuperSprint headers designed for the MB V6 engines. They will not work on the Crossfire or SLK due to stuff in the way.
