I have never really questioned this as it always happened from new, when driving the spoiler goes up and goes down smoothly, but when I put it down after washing the car it goes down in six stages and you have to keep the button depressed, it goes up in one smooth action and you do not have to keep your finger on the button.
Is this normal or should it go down smoothly without stopping and starting? The more I think about it the more it seems odd.
I searched but either missed the article or none exist. Meanwhile I will search again.
