Default Re: New Paint Question

Do NOT apply a wax or sealant for 60 to 90 days. That fresh paint needs time to out gas and fully cure first. You can safely clay it, use a pure polish like M07 Show Car Glaze or Deep Crystal Polish, or even a light paint cleaner like M80 Speed Glaze or M205 Ultra Finishing Polish if you notice some fine swirls or holograms from when it was buffed out. You may not see those YET as the body shop has most likely applied a glaze to the surface which would conceal any holograms they inflicted. Once the car has been washed a few times, however, that glaze will wash away and any holograms will be revealed.
