I'm in Ohio - Larame was just a nick name when I was in the 8th grade.

I may need to change my advise to buy a Saab - on the other hand there are going to be some good deals out there.

General Motors Co. may shut its Saab unit after sports-car maker super car Koenigsegg Group AB canceled a planned acquisition of the Swedish company.

My guess is GM's improving financial picture means they want to keep Saab as they need a European near luxury brand. Or some Chinese manufacturer buys Saab - might be better than GM ownership but I like product devlopment in Sweden.

Worst case - this is the end of the road for Saab like Saturn another one bites the dust. I hope my 100K mile saab warranty is good but I might be getting service at a Chevy dealer before this is over. But this is the same reason I got such a good price on car. This will be good training if Chrysler does not make it. I may need to go buy a Saturn this weekend.
