Re: Srt6 top speed
The n/a and SRT6 are different cars, for sure. I bought the roadster because I wanted a 2-seater convertible with a stick, harking back to my 74 TR6. It fulfills that need in a faster, more reliable package. After reading all the comments about the SRT6, I figured it would be great to own a very fast sports car with a hand-built AMG engine for a low price. It does not ride as nicely as the roadster but, even stock, it provides plenty of acceleration and growl. I bought it last year because I wanted one with low mileage, in good shape, without mods. To be honest, I drove it less than 1000 miles this summer and only about 5k the first summer I owned it. I prefer the roadster for road trips. You can still pick up a relatively low mileage SRT6 for well under $20k.
PS - The 2007 belongs to my son. I convinced him to use his motorcycle money and I paid the difference. It was a cheap investment to keep him alive. Machine gray is a beautiful color and it's a very elegant sports car, one that he does not take good enough care. I have to shame him into detailing it, but them again he is only 19.
