I guess my mileage 30K would certainly contribute to this and allot of my driving has been highway, but I have 75k on my passatt on the same route and that thing has hardly a mark on it.
Anyone know if this is covered under warranty off hand, had experiences with windshield pitting before or had this kind of work repaired? id be interested to hear.
Thanks
Got the same problem with my X- fire as well after 19,000 miles. I have to agree with Andrew very soft glass. I had a 96' Jeep Grand Cherokee that I used to take on the same route to work everyday. At anywhere from 50,000 to 55,000 miles the windshield started to pit.
