True, it ain't quite as much of an improvement as adding a pulley, but hey,

I will agree with you. Some people equate performance as having a direct correlation with horse power. If the SB allows you to accelerate faster, then YES.... it is a performance modification. Just as improved springs, struts, shocks, sway bars, brakes, etc. are performance modifications. if a modification allows you to gain increased handling, acceleration, or speed...... then guess what........ IT IS A PERFORMANCE MODIFICATION.
