I have a stick & an automatic....does the Throttle Reset Procedure apply to both....or does the procedure really just change the computer learned shift points on the automatic transmission?

The accelerator pedal on the automatic has a resistance point ....then snap...you get another 1/2 inch or so of travel.....stick doesn't have that.

Performed the procedure on both yesterday &....we usually drive the automatic kinda mellow.....& since I was driving it a lot harder than usual after the reset ...so I can't swear it's a whole lot snappier than it was before ...(but it was snappy!!) So, I've not got a lot of previous "hard driving" experience on the automatic to compare the change with.

I always drive like a fool in the daily driver stick....so didn't notice any change on that one.
