It was several years back when I talked to the customer. He sent about 4-5 of his dash pieces to them. I'm pretty shure he told me it was starcraft. Its a fake finish, but looks pretty close to the real thing. Im not sure but I think they use a hydrograhics process and then shoot a clearcoat on it. I think it cost him under 200 for the centerconsole and some of the dash pieces. Works awsome on curvy surfaces. Check aout the gallary from this company
http://www.dip-tech.net/index-2.html. They do hydrographics too, but you can get pretty mutch any finish you want. I used to install the stick on dash kits and really never liked them. I think a glossy burl wood or other exotic wood finish would look pretty nice. Most newer luxuries have fake wood dashes anyway. The real wood dash coverings never seemed to last too long without going to crap
