Re: Finally Lowered my Car
When setting up my old cobra suspension, the eibach prokit doesn't drop it enough to require any special kind of alignment extras(parts). But I went all out, with the H&R SS, which was very close to 2" in front, and 1.75 in the rear. tokico illumina adj. shocks and struts. Maximum motorsports caster camber plates. Due to the drop up front, my ball joints went south in a hurry. Swapped out the tie rod endlinks, and balljoints, with aftermarket ones. I also went with a front sway bar twice the size of the original. The car would definately handle beyond my driving skills, when cornering it just stuck to the road amazingly. however anything taller than a pack of smokes, would not clear under the car, found that out driving over a turtle, scared the crap out of me, but sent turtle pieces flying out from under the rear of the car. Sorry about the long post on a different vehicle, but I feel the same applies here as well. chris
