This is too nice a car to treat it like an old race...if I am going to that, hell I'll buy a wrecked one and put a hemi it, detroit locker rear end, and do wheel stands...lol
Doc we really don't need a "HEMI" to do wheelies....With nearly identical demensions (especially weight and wheelbase), here's a wheelstander that's only a second faster than Mr. Photoman's "6".

But you're right, maybe a Detroit Locker, along with 4.88's (and some wrinkle walls) might come in handy.
It makes me wonder if we'll be seeing a radical SRT yanking the front wheels on "Pinks All Out" in a few years.
Actually the 17" wheels on a SLK cut a 1/2 second off its 1/4 mi. ET's compared to the lighter "NA" Crossfire, (thanks to less rotating mass).
But putting skinny SLK type tires on a torquey SRT might not be a very good idea unless you like the smell of melting rubber.
