The V6 and V8's use the 722.6 Transmission. i believe the V8 trans has a larger clutch pack. Having a light car can help. I did some very fun driving and a few luanches with no problem. the car is a handful with the traction control turned off. There were some video and lots of pictures taken today at the GTG. P.S. This swap would be a little easier on an SLK R170.
