For you old school guys...........just think of M-B's 722.x transmission like Chevy's TH350. They both work great(different levels of greatness) and are used in EVERYTHING they can put it into. As an example my Charger SRT-8 6.1l V8, Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7l V8 and Crossfire SRT-6 3.2l v6 all have 722 trannys as well as almost all M-B's(including 65AMGs and SLR).









PS Most of the really new/newer M-Bs have switched to the 7 speed transmission and I don't think(or really know) that that's a 722.
