I too am going to be looking for a rim that will work the best for a drag setup. IMO, you don't need huge meats under there. The car will hook on a small slick setup.
Here's a 600rwhp 10 second SL55 running the little baby 255/60 16's and cutting 1.5-1.6 60's. If he can hook then any Crossfire will hook..........plus I've already had and raced with 315/35 17 Hoosiers and the only thing they do better is look REALLY cool.
