I won't fault anyone that wants to do things by the book. But sometimes I question the manufacturer's motive for maintenance recommendations as creating business for the dealers. What I said in my previous post was told to me by an independent mechanic that serviced my cars for over ten years.
on most other cars I'd agree with you, I've never changed a fuel filter in a car I've owned. However being that the SRT-6 engine replacement cost is very high, I'd rather be more prone to keeping everything by the book and I mean what's 140 bucks every 50,000 miles.
I'm mainly just concrned with getting the best product since I'm getting it done.
