Talking Re: Lets Talk IAT's...

I have had an electronic and mechanical pressure gauge on the rail. NEVER saw a pressure drop, when I did testing WAY BACK I had 17:1 A/F [with the 178 pulley, now have the 185] and set the regulator to 80 PSIG and it went to 9:1 PIG RICH or lower, 'limit of gauge 9.0'. This was with up to 20 psig boost.

THere is no limit imposed by our regulator or pump as far as I know. If there is Id check the pressure differential across the regulator filter assembly.

Our leaning is caused by the increased intake manifold boost pressure, pushing back on the injector reducing its EFFECTIVE pressure at the pintal. Nominal 60 psig - 20+ pounds of boost, = effective 40 psig and 2/3 's the fuel delivery. Several others have tested this and had similar positive results.

THe leaning and tuning issues are largely solved, clean up of the design is going forward and I have Rob doing design work on his car ( Theres an odd situation, He's doing design on my approach). By the second quarters beginning, Id estimate the kit would be available from Nedswings ( my joke name).

Should be able to plug the PC into the data logger and adjust the numbers till you beat your self bloody like that one AVATAR shows on the guy on the keyboard. Want a setting have at it....... THis is one of the two designs ---make that 3 designs I have been working on when time permitted.

Youll like the WALDIG /Rob adjustability, and he will get it cleaned up. But I digress.WOODY

The intercooler that we have is fairly stuffed and I doubt that the interior has much more to offer as far a heat exchanging goes. I really got to get people to flush the radiator H/E and drain into a clean cloth to show others what I have found - Gunk. Youve seen it on the old impeller pictures of broken stock pumps, that has to be worth 5 - 10% eficiency losses and I may well be conservative.
