No matter what you do to the car unless it is origional or very close to it the majority of people on the forum will not like it. There is something about most crossfire owners that don't like these cars being changed or altered. For example, Rim selection - Mandrus milleniums are a big hit, they look like the srt rims. Ansa Muffler - sounds stock just a little louder and you can put the stock tips on it.
Another example is my car, paintjob and rim selection was not the best choice according to the forums, but I LIKE IT! Just wait till I find a set of tail lights I like because the factory ones are ugly and they need to be changed.
I take another approach, I like to see the cars customized, stock or not I think it's interesting to see what others come up with. it just becomes a question of whether or not it fits with my tastes of what I'd like to see if it were my car. I'm of the persuasion that if you like it and makes you feel good about it then it doesn't matter what I think of it.
