Default Re: The Good, the bad and the ugly

By the way, this post has referred that the engine bay is ffully capable of running a V8 in it. Given how much I really like this car, and someday it will come to its' demise in it's current form, when that day arrives I plan on working a V8 into it, with a new drive train etc to extend it's life. My wife's uncle builds hotrods, and has shoved a Corvette engine into the frame of a '34 Plymouth so I have no doubt we could put the body of the Cross onto a frame mod at the worst, with a new engine and ECU, and maybe have to make some mods for that.

But by and large I think I'll have this car fo a long time. It would be really fun to start from scratch with it considering that it's paid for, and by that time dead anyway. I would not pull a perfectly good engine now though just to be able to say i have a V8 in it. heck, by the time that happens they'll probably have 400HP V4's that get 50 mpg's!

for FP, in the note above-couldn't agree with you more. Yo have 100 Crosses meet up and they all look alike except for color, while impressive just for that, would be boring indeed.
