Re: I forgot the fun I was having!!!
Reading this post and the one about the Tire Sensors reminded me of a couple of things;
I was recently in Discount Tires store location in Surprise Arizona and ordered a set of OEM size Kuhno tires for my Xfire.........they are holding them for me and they will go on the car in January (if I remember the price, it was about $800 and change, out the door price.
Anyways, when I was there, I saw a lot of advertising re Tire Sensors and the idea that they were the 'specialists' in replacement, etc. Now, I didn't get into any discussions with them but I guess I was left with the impression that if I needed any help with this issue, I would probably talk to them in more detail about what they can do, pricing, etc.
The other thing is that I was down at Turbo Sportique yesterday picking my Corvette up after leaving it there for some body/paint work while we were in Arizona; the Corvette has 21year old original paint and the section I needed repaired and painted (I had a tussle with my vehicle lift about 3 years ago) was the mirror and upper half of passenger door..........they did a terrific job on the repair work and matched the paint excellently.
While there, James Gross is working on his fourth front 'fairing' for the Xfire and each time he improves on the structure or design...............my wife was there too and I have put in a good word to Santa..............lets just say that I made it clear that my Xfire was SSB and we are going back to Arizona in January and I thought there would be room in the PT Cruiser for a new 'fairing'.
