I had the johnson pump and it worked great for about 7 month's. Then it started blowing fuses so I switched the 10 amp with a 15 amp fuse. The good news was it didn't blow the fuse anymore but the pump didn't work after that either. I have replaced it with the ford lightning pump and has been working great so far.
