I think the best pump is the "ford lightning" pump on ebay. It is a direct fit, flows more than enough and best of all is under $100 shipped!

I still feel it is the way to go, why pay more or have more install headaches than you have to? I am all for using what works best for the least $ and least effort

I would hardly call a pump that requires "custom install from the electrics to the hoses to the mounts" the best pump when it does not give you any more power, only more headaches and less $ in your pocket.
