Sorry I can't answer you question because I have never tried it. The belly pan may get in the way. If the crossmember seems strong enough, I don't see why you couldn't.

I made a set of ramps years ago out of 2x8 boards. One longer than the next, nailed together, 3 high. That is more than enough room to reach the oil plug. Much easier and safer.
