For what it's worth, I ran generic spacers on my Ranger.
AND HATED THEM.
Terrible problems with balancing, wheel-bearings prematurely failed, and I had to run some weird lug nuts which (over time) sheared off on the lug.
Hub-centric is the ONLY spacer I would consider.
It's like putting on a well-tailored suit versus an "off-the-shelf" version from Wal-Mart. Both are suits, but one is a
suit. The other is simply an ill-fitted overpriced blazer that irritates you.
Hub-centric means zero play in the spacer, superb balance, and no guess-work in installing behind the wheel. Non-centric models must be carefully "eyeballed" until they appear to be evenly centered as your torque the lugs down.
And upon reaching 75mph, you quickly realize that calipers > eyeballs.
