Re: Long Distance Cruising
APN28, I'll be looking for ya, we are headed out the thursday the 3rd sometime around midnight, and coming back the following wednesday. As far as the trip is concerned, it was pretty last minute but we got all our reservations done today so we are set. Going to school in Detroit during the winter is extremely depressing, so I need to see some sun as anyone from Michigan can probably agree... We are planning on driving out to vancouver, then down to california, then up route 66, this summer, so this trip will be a nice test run for a trip like that. I did a bit of research and with my lease if I get a flat and the tire needs to be replaced it is covered, (knock on wood). Of course there is the fear of getting stranded somewhere, but what the hell, you only live once. The car can be a pain in the snow, but we drove down there a couple years ago in dakota in a monsoon level rain storm, and that thing was far worse in the rain then the crossfire is in the snow. As far as speeding, I guess I will probably keep around 75-80 or so and the Valentine One turned up. I will get some pics of the car at the beach to replace the photos of my old car in my album...
