I guess I'm lucky. I have two stone chips in my windshield. One looks like a BB hit it but since I was driving the car when it happened I know it was from a thrown rock and neither crack has spread and it has been over two years since they happened. I just never bothered to have the windshield replaced and I have full glass coverage on the car.
