that's the correct thing to do, and I agree with Jim..I haven't had to use my warranty on the srt yet, but I did use an aftermarket warranty on my old trail blazer...paid a $50 deductable, and they allowed the mechanic that had towed it to do the repairs as well. I didn't have to take it to a dealer...just have to shop for a good warranty. That repair alone paid for the warranty cost.
