I go through one set of rear tires a year, and that's about 11,000 miles. But I drive it like I stole it, so YMMV - literally. My fronts lasted pretty well, and didn't need replaced until the tire shop ruined one while mounting it on new rims. So I ended up replacing the fronts and rears.
