Now I disconnected my battery because I read the you will get some airbag light on if you unplug the seats with the battery still connected. I also read that to fix this is to take out the pressure pad and put it into the aftermarket seat. I really would like to not take apart the factory seats. Is there anyway to get around this maybe wire in some switch or something? The other problem is the seatbelt has a wire coming from it. This must be for that ding it makes when you dont buckle. Now if you got around the pressure pad would you need that wire to the buckle?

There is no pressure pad in the Crossfire seats. At least not that I could find in the manual. They have what Chrysler calls a simulated pressure sensor or something like that. As far as I can tell what you need to do is use the original seat belt buckles. Under the seat you will find a wire that runs from under the carpet to the seat bottom. If you follow it from where it plugs into the seat it will lead you to the buckle mounted to the seat base. I believe that if you make sure that you are still making this circuit you will get no warning light. I do not know if your airbags will still work. I took the seat out of my car and drove around with the belt hooked up this way (I was able to just plug this together) and got no light. I think that the car tells if someone is in the seat is by whether the set belt is buckled and by whether the belt on at least the passenger side is extended.
Before I did this I put a weight on my passenger seat and it did not give me the seatbelt warning sound or light. That is way I tried this. Try your car and make sure it is the same. Simple huh
I still have my stock seats in!
