here, they will just take away your privilege to drive as a habitual offender...driving in the US is not a right, but a privilege...I had a friend go thru this....after 3 yrs of his life time suspension, he had to put up a $25K bond, probation for 3 more yrs...to get his license back. He was a GM for a Chevy dealership....all in all, after paying someone for 3 yrs to get him to work and back, legal fees, and the latter....it wasn't 200K but it was a chunk...so, don't drink and drive....or get a host of large speeding tickets....some states can file habitual on you...take those license for life....now, with that said, you would never catch me speeding....no, not me....
