Default Re: New Vintage X-Fire Caps Available

Just wanted to share a couple of shots of the Red XF badge on my Yellow XF. I removed the Chrysler badges using a little odorless mineral spirits and some very slim small pry bars. I was surprised that the Badges were held on with clear silicone. Took about 30 min to remove. The replacement badges were slightly large to drop into were the old badges were so trimed them with scissors. The old badges are still in good shape and if I ever need to re-apply it will be very easy. Under the Chrysler badges there was a small "L" shaped projection that interfered with the new badges laying as smooth as possible so I took a dremmel with a light sand papper disk and smoothed them down. Peel and stick, they look great.
