Many years back I had to sell a '92 limited addition Z-28 Camaro for the same reason...it was hard to do, but necessary since I had twin sons turning 16 and their eyes on the Camaro. Although, had I only had one son, I might have elected to buy an old beater for them to drive...I sold the Camaro, and purchased 2 used grand am's...front wheel drive, but sporty enough to keep them interested...my 3rd son is still driving one of those old grand am's...it has 150K on it and still running...good luck with your sale, but I would consider the beater rather than losing a great car....
