glad I missed this one the first time....most of the answers would qualify today as "road rage", even though you are the one being tailgated...just let them go....sooner or later, they will get nailed for what they are doing...I don't think I would want to hit my brakes with some tired, pilled up idiot in a semi on my butt....not worth it...today, as I drive 2500 miles a wk, most of the gater's are either on a cell phone, texting, and yes, reading the newspaper...so, hitting your brakes with one of these idiots on your tail just might get you hit...but, it was an interesting read...be patient, be careful...don't want to bend the XF, there aren't many body panels available...I like the, just speed away technique if you can't be patient.
