Default Re: The New Face of " CUDA "

That car is mentioned in a book I got for Christmas called the Art of the Hot Rod - It was built by a guy named Alan Johnson of Johnson's Hot Rod Shop in Gadsden, Alabama. The car is nicknamed the "G-Force Cuda" Its a chopped and section 71 Barrracuda. Under the carbon fiber hood is a 572cid, 870 hp Indy cyl head all aluminum hemi. The car features an Art Morrison chassis, Carbon fiber front fenders and doors and other CF components to keep the weight down. The car weighs 2800 pounds. It also features a Corvette C-5 suspension all around with the Corvette Getrag transaxle and on and on, the goal was a 200-mph car. This car was actually developed before Dodge showed its new Challeger. Alan Johnson is an amazing car builder who is also plugged into Chip Foose.
If you are at all into Hot Rods you should check out this book. The photography alone is worth the money!
