Are you in danger of a suspension? If so, I'd get legal counsel. At least call the DA's office and talk to them to see what kind of a deal they can give you.

Downwardspiral, I wish it was that easy in my part of NY. Last Oct I got my 3rd ticket during the year, that means an automatic 1 year suspension. I was on my way home from work and was nailed doing 81 in a 65 zone, I was driving my white Kia Amanti, a large sedan. Next day I see the ticket was written up for a black XF, which happened to be sitting in my driveway that day. My first line of attack was to get it thrown out since the officer wrote it up for the wrong car - I must have handed him the wrong registration and he never realized it. But, this week I was told if I take a defensive driving class the court will reduce my points by 2 and I can keep my license. Speaking of the court being a joke, the judge looked like Satan dressed as a cowboy. Seriously.
