Simple observation would say the exact opposite.
I am sure they are fine in the stock format, but all of us including you have second guessed those same designers and engineers by removing those stock intakes, pulleys and re writing their tunes in the pursuit of more power. I can understand how those stock plentums can be over worked at 20lbs of boost and flowing twice as much are with our new intakes.
