CD2 is an engine detailer. It is the best thing I have ever used. It was around for years, then it got taken off the shelves for a few years. To get my engine bay to look like it does, I just spray simple green on it liberally, let sit for a couple of minutes, spray it off with water, let engine bay dry, spray CD2 over everything, Done. It really can't get any easier than that. The best thing is that it is silicone based so it does not dry oily, and will actually repel dust.

EDIT: For best results, after you spray the CD2 on, let sit with the hood up for about 30 minutes, and then go for a ride to get the engine to operating temps. This will set the CD2.
