To think that a 12 year old German design is engineered to a higher standard than a modern world class performance car is ignorant. As far as I know our frame rails aren't hydroformed, we don't have any carbon fiber body panels, we don't have a hand-assembled dry sumped race engine, our tranny isn't in the rear of the car to improve weight distribution, and absolutely will not handle 500+hp (manual). I can't really find 1 thing the crossfire does better besides have an orangy brown leather interior. I don't see what all the German engineering hype is about, I feel like its more of a snob appeal / media thing.
