Default Re: Tailgating AKA Following to close

I always seem to have tailgaters and road ragerswhen traveling east on Hwy 70 MO. Always seem to have my wife in the car too which puts quite a govener on my reactions. Once had to dim wits in a ford ranger go through hell and high water to stay on my tail! Id punch it and leave them over and over but wifey says slow down now so they eventually would catch up or Id get stuck behind 2 semis and have to sit there and wait.

Recently in our caliber, some nut in a f150 was tailgating us. I moved over but took my time doing so.... . So he gets along side and just hangs there because I was coming up on a semi and would be blocked in my him. So I punched that little caliber for all it had and got in front of him agsin which increased his tailgating all the more. I tap my brakes (which is more effective if you include a little sharp tap of the steering wheel) he gats closer passes and then drives down the center lane. We watched him do this over and over to others.

PS Franc...bikers love to toss sparkplugs too heh heh
