here's a suggestion, slow down ! european designed cars have very tight steering radius's and can do that, we have a Crossfire and a Volvo, it is perfectly possible to scrub a tire off a volvo if you try to turn too quickly.. the Crossfire has 18k miles completed and the front tires are half way worn, the rears are maybe three quarters now..
