Moparrbust and I bought these mercedes wheels 16 x 7 together, he got two and I got two, I was not happy with the fit as the ET is 35 or 37 not sure ,(mine is now covered up) any way i wanted the wheels to stick out more, I also did not want to use a spacer (persay). so i got with a wheel repair shop and here is what i came up with.
first i alined the hub centric spacer perfectly center, I got the correct bolts along with centering nuts. through the small holes in the rims i drilled the spacer. i then marked it remove it and tapped them both. I bolted the hubcentric 15mm spacers to the wheel, I changed my offset to ET 20 , I do not have tires on them yet,, my other set of drag radials the 315 35 17 do for me what paul's did for him then i will sell these two rims with spacers bolted on them. here are some pic of what and how i did it. jim
you can see the tapered nut and the ball lug.
