Thanks Doc, 12 hours before I left for Florida for 8 days, my furnace goes out, this is about 12 hours after these lights and issues with the car started. I get back from a record cold vacation in Florida to a house that has had the door kicked in and been robbed. This is all after only owning my home less than 30 days. You could say it has been about the worst 10 days I have experienced in my 26 years on this earth....
The only saving grace, when I got back, the car was fine, no more lights and spoiler works fine, must be an intermittent thing that only happens in the cold.
I am having the exact same problem. Didn't think to add anything till you told us about the robbery. Just this last week, in the midst of my car going berzerk like yours my neighbor calls to tell me a guy had walked into his house while he was there. The guy took off. Police were called. No one was caught, of course. Coincidence? God I hope so...
