Re: Roadster Wind Blocker
I just installed my Chrysler windscreen 3 weeks ago. Haven't had a chance to test it out yet... been too cold and nasty, cars in the garage. I really like the design, IMHO it's alot nicer than the aftermarket ones. Installation was pretty simple. Must drill 4 small holes to mount the bottom bracket (railing) that the windscreen slides into, but that's it. You will need a special crimping tool to install the 4 rivet-like mounting hardware in holes. I drilled the holes and then went to a local bodyshop that had a crimping tool, and the guy did it for me. It only took him about 5 minutes. The windscreen comes with a nice black zippered storage case, for when you want take it off. It is simple to remove... just unstrap the two velcro straps that wrap around the roll bars.
I added a CROSSFIRE logo (the design that's on the touring luggage tags) that has a etched glass look on the bottom half of the windsceen. Similar to the S2000 windscreen that has "S2000" etched in it... if you have seen that before.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
