I sprayed the calipers on my Aero and brushed painted the calipers on the SSB. Brush painting is easy and you can do it in the nice warm house. I think you also get thicker coating. But the spray I used was high temp engine paint, not caliper paint. They both came out looking VERY good. Spray painting was faster. Either method needs a few coats to cover well and look good. You can get the kits at most auto parts stores.... have fun!
