This further proves that hood scoop theory would be VERY efficient. About MAF, i am almost certain the car would need a retune because airflow to the engine would be a lot more than what the computer expects so the car would probably run lean. A tune would take care of it easily. All you have to do is to put the car on dyno and start datalog it and balance the A/F ratio.
