The fuel filter is to the left of the rear passenger tire its above a square plastic cover. Its not bad at all to change. I replaced mine after I think 50K miles beacuse my camaro fuel pump burned out due to a clogged fuel filter and I hated workiin on that...anyway....in the manual I believe it says change at the 100k mile service, Unless you see a decresed performance level or other engine problems you really dont need to change it till the recommended time. I just have a habit of doing things early.
