My tyres are being scrubbed on both the outside fronts, i thought it was wheel alignment , the dealer checked it and said it was perfect.
So i took it to an independent garage and the readings were showing that it should be wearing on the insides!!!
Anyway, we worked out that it was when you put full lock on the wheels scrubbed on the outsides.
The car has only done 7,000 miles and the power steering is ripping the tyre sides to shreds on the factory fit continentals.
Is anyone else having this problem??

i am interpreting this to mean that the wear is taking place while the vehicle is stopped and the wheel is being turned - like pulling out of a parking space. it is very easy to wear out tires while turning the steering wheel while the vehicle is not moving. the solution is to make sure you are moving slowly forward or backwards as you begin to turn the wheel.
also, as mentioned above you can rotate the tires side to side to maximize the life of your tires if they indicate significant wear on the outside tread.
