The problem you describe is caused by excessive toe-in. Make sure your dealer actualy has the proper alignment machine to check 18" and 19" lip-less rims >> many of the Chrysler dealers do not have the necessary equipment. I had the same problem with my car and called DC customer service and they hooked me up with a dealer that could do the alignment. After you get the alignment done, make sure you have the tires rotated side to side, the treadwear should even out within about 3,000 miles or so (depending on how bad your "feathering" is).
