Pulled mine apart couple weeks ago. I think i just used the tip of one of the small torx drivers I bought to push the pin out of the tray door. (might have actually been a pen) As soon as the knobby end slides out you can just grab onto it and pull the rest out. As far as the vents I just flexed one out at a time on the same side then pulled the whole thing out. I couldn't really find a good way of doing it but I used a lot of force and they held together fine.
