The media will never let the facts get in the way of a good story. You's be surprised how much information coming out of LaHood's mouth is BS. Also, do you know how many recalls Toyota has had since they came to the United States...... 1...this is the first one. I will be the firs to admit that the Toyota product line quality has diminished since the 2000-2002 model years but this pedal issue is out of control. Plus, the only affected cars have CTS pedals in them....and only 2 confirmed cases of sticking pedal due to wear, not a improper use of a floor mat.. All Japanese built models have Denso pedals and are not affected. If anyone would like more info I will be more than happy to share.
